Ridley visiting Lions, signs, and is now released

Actually kind of excited about our RB situation... Hopefully all the rb's that DO end up making the team get put in the right situations to succeed and are actually blocked for... Season start is soo close I can TASTE it haha

Abdullah, Riddick, Zenner, Winn and Burton make it. Washington to the practice squad. That's my guess.

Abdullah and Riddick as your flash. Then you have Zenner and Washington to wear down defenses. Zenner and Washington can both play STs. This makes Winn expendable. The question is....wtf do you do with Burton? He's not exactly your protypical NFL FB. I like the kid but he brings a different style to the FB position. I say they go 5 RBs...just gotta feeling

We didnt get to see ridley in action much. Zenner and washington won the job. Doesnt mean ridley is a bad player though. Our run d is good enough to stop them. Colts have some oline injuried too. And both des and vontae davis.

Stevan Ridley - RB - Free Agent
Colts released RB Stevan Ridley.
Ridley lasted all of six days with the Colts, but it is possible he is brought back after veteran salaries guarantee Week 1. Ridley's release is theoretically good news for undrafted rookie Josh Ferguson, although he could still lose his roster spot to Robert Turbin and Jordan Todman.

What the hell was Quinn thinking???

Was there ever any doubt? Indy only brought him in for Week 1 intel. He's been done since Pollard crushed his melon for him.
