Had an interesting career...

started out in sportscasting before moving to politics.

Initially started out as a right wing talk show host in the early 90's. moved to the left over the course of the decade (link)

I sometimes doubted whether he was sincere, or just figured there was more of an audience for him on the left. He wouldn't support a drive to unionize his MSNBC workplace, although he claims MSNBC later fired him for supporting Bernie and not toeing the line on Clinton.
 
I wonder if he was always as pissed off when he did college football play by play as she seemed to be on MSNBC.

Dude probably would have a lived longer if he had worked out more and had a hobby.

That shit right there, that is some good stress relief.
