Romney is a fucking idiot

What was romneys exact quote? I remember it being pretty fucking stupid. Like if mitt were prez, you could count on him flying there in air force 1 and single-handedly repelling the attack.

Barry ran off to Vegas for another fundraiser....He doesnt give a fuck about the embassy, more and more it sounds like they knew it was coming I really dont care what McCain and Graham have to say...

Yeah, Charlie Sheen is saying this too, that it was an inside job; the bombs had actually already been planted beforehand...

And that fat lesbian that used to be on The View, too...

exactly what did he say that has you clowns upset??? crickets....

this paints a picture that most of america agrees with....

"Mr. Romney did not hesitate to conflate and distort three distinct entities - the statement released by our people in harms way in Cairo, the Obama administration's response to this crises and their on-going Foreign Policy. Romney is again trying to portray the man who put his Presidency on the line to take down bin Laden as weak, as "apologizing for America."
He engages in an obscene dance on the graves of our dead, before they've even returned home to their families. Facts be damned. National Security be damned. The lives of our people be damned. Our grieving families be damned. They are all merely fodder for his political ambition.

The clear and present danger to our country is a man who does not see our dead, our Diplomatic Corps or our National Security as deserving of respect and thoughtful, intelligent, consideration. That man is Mitt Romney."

Not a Mitt slappy, but that is the biggest hunk of BS I've ever read next to Catcher in the Rye.

hopefully Romney keeps up his foray into foreign policy....everyday they dont talk about the economy is a win for Barry

So youre disagreeing that the second he heard the news he made ridiculous statement that made no sense, he didnt check the facts first, he disrespected our dead and that he did it for his own political agenda. i dont know how you can disprove any of those.

:tup:he gave a National Statement on Foreign Policy in response to a twitter tweet from a staffer inside the Cairo embassy...:lmao:

His statement was not released the second he heard the news; it was in reaction to a pathetic official statement that even the State Department ordered the Cairo embassy not to publish because of its apologetic tone and your last two points are pure biased speculation.

Romney "disrespected the dead" by criticizing an official response that is conciliatory to the thugs who murdered them? No. That statement did a better job of that.

It was a little more official than that; it was a statement on the website, authorized by the Chief of Mission at the embassy.

really....Mittens himself admitted he was responding to the twitter statement.

Romney tried to get around this blatant contradiction Wednesday by saying he was referring to tweets by the embassy affirmed their initial statement after the Egypt protest got out of hand (but well before the Libya murders). But even those tweets actually included a condemnation of the embassy breach as well. Either way, it takes a pretty massive leap to get from ambiguous tweets by besieged social media outreach staff member at an embassy in Egypt to claiming the White House itself reacted to the death of Americans in Libya by expressing sympathy for militants.

The initial statement was not a tweet. That aside, must be nice to live in a country whose problems are so marginal that it's possible to focus your attention to the one that you can see from your front door.

Does THIS look like 140 characters?

“The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims — as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.”
