Tigers' pitching coach got fired for racial slurs (black man near him reported it he thought it was directed at him), and the coach denied it saying he was talking about one of his players, a white player, and they call him "Spider Monkey." The player had no knowledge of that..

I clicked on a couple of the tweets below of RP supporters...taking me to their homepages...whoa...they and their followed/follower/retweeted are truly some Pepe pieces of derplorable work. One in particular bragging about whites "conquering" and then "civilizing" the New World.

Other than Trump, I don't know many (or any) supporters of most of the politicians with followers that post that sort of thing. But I do know a few RP supporters and they would hate that stuff if they were aware of it.

Retire from what? He's been out of the House of Representatives for over five years now.

I guess he spends his professional time these days just being Ron Paul; he's involved with a couple of activist organizations he founded.

If they made a movie about adrenalin junkie surfers who robbed banks wearing masks like the faces of the multi-cultural Marxists depicted in the cartoon, and they were infiltrated by an under cover FBI agent who had been a college football star at Michigan but ended up blowing out his knee, which kept him out of the NFL.

That is a great concept; I think I'm going to get right on the phone and pitch that to the studios.

I'm not refuting what you said; just saying that of the politicians where I'd expect more of less of this sort of thing, I'd expect less with RP.

But I guess the allure of bilking Libertarian man-children out of their savings using the Ron Paul? brand is too good to let go.

As long as he has a pulse, someone can manage his twitter feed, put out newsletters in his name, and collect some $$$. it's obvious the occasional openly racist or white supremacist endorsement or association won't scare away the RonPaul lovers, because they care about "ideals" not "politics."

I guess some people subscribe to his news letter and buy his books. Nobody is going to go through their savings doing that.

so I should've said "some percentage of their savings" not just "their savings?"
