RT Battle

Not RT, but there are rumors floating that Runyan is now injured. Could mean Mayfield moves to LT and we have to start a RS Freshman, Ryan Hayes, at RT for a few games.

since our first three opponents are Middle Tennessee, Army, and BYE, shouldn't be a big deal.

Side note: I just saw a rumor that we're playing Middle Tennessee to troll MSU (remember the infamous 2 seed/15 seed upset from a couple years ago). Probably not likely, but then again, I'm sure there are plenty of small schools willing to take the paycheck to come play in Michigan Stadium, so not sure why that one.

If true, it would make more sense to play Middle Tennessee in basketball, not football. Hmm. . .

So we can expect MSU to play App. State at some point. Toledo as well.

I was thinking that as well; frankly I'm surprised they haven't done it yet. Maybe they've tried to schedule those teams but couldn't make it work.

A few years ago when the NCAA tourney seeded us against Ohio University ...and we LOST, I thought it was definitely an intentional move in light of Hoke's term "Ohio" when referring to osu.

App State would be a handful this season for any program not names Clemson, Georgia or Alabama. ASU is playing (South) Alabama this year. Alabama has WCU in November (23rd), so it better not look over other opponents during the season in anticipation of playing that team. And, Auburn has to feel good about playing an emotionally spent Alabama team the following week.

Harbaugh confirmed Stueber is out for the year with an ACL tear. Big hit to o-line depth.

This is a sneakier zing.

Not as obvious.

Brilliant on the part of whomever made the schedule.

Brilliant, I says.
