Rudy G forgets to never forget

well, he still said it. the quote is only "out of context" because he's playing word games with what he considers an attack by radical islam. so 9/11 was not the same thing as Benghazi in his mind. I'm sure the distinction is meaningful to anyone who's loved ones were killed in the 9/11 attacks. (sarcasm)

for the record, i read the whole article in my OP later and saw he actually did refer to 9/11 earlier in his speech, but figured, "meh, people are having fun with this one, so fuck it."

so to clarify Rudy thinks "we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States" during Bush's 8 years in office because in his twisted reasoning the 9/11 attacks were not committed by radical Islamists. semantics... meaning is important here. (sarcasm)

Wow. I figured it had to be something like this, but I didn't think it would be that obviously twisted out of context.

When I heard it reported on KABC radio; a major media outlet that tends to have moderately conservatively talk show hosts, no reference to any mention that Giuliani was referring to the eight years post 9/11 before Obama.

I guess it depends on which eight Bush years it serves your purpose to be referring to at a given time (@2:52).

That's not his argument. Where did you get that from? He's obviously crazy, because he says this country needs Donald Trump. But he specifically says they attacked the World Trade Center under the ideology of radical Islam.

edit: I'm still trying wrap my head around how to make this a sarcastic comment. I guess I need to retract the question, but this is some weird sarcasm.

That's what's going on here. He's not being sufficiently clear while he plays with the timeline. He didn't forget. But it's nice that he can support Trump without the 2 of them having to use the same timeline.

I got that from the fact that he talked about the 9/11 attacks then said "for 8 years before Obama, we had no attacks from radical islam" or whatever. each article quoted him. am I missing something?

Now you're just messing with my broken sarcasm detector.
