Tigers have purchased contract of RHP Thad Weber from Toledo.
LHP Daniel Schlereth has been optioned to Toledo.

Weber has been starter, needed now in long relief.

Leyland on Daniel Schlereth: "He hasn't been in sync since day 1. He needs to go out and pitch."

Weber is a surprise. Wasn't even a spring training invite. 0.75 ERA, 15/2 K/BB ratio in 12 innings for Toledo this year.
