I found at article crediting him for developing Tom Brady at Michigan, but he would have been a grad assistant at the time. Makes sense that they'd be friends, but 'developed' probably goes too far.

LOL, I think the only people who didn't take credit for developing Tom Brady are the people most responsible for it: Bill Belichick and Lloyd Carr. mostly Bill Belichick.

IIRC, Carr was candid about underestimating Brady when he was here, and forcing him to rotate with Drew Henson, which produced lousy results.
