Senators 2 Red Wings 1 Final

Amazingly the Wings are only 3 points out of the Wild Card now after starting 0-5-2. Maybe we should transition back to making playoff mode instead of tanking for a top pick. The team is playing hard and it appears we won’t have that top pick now. Howard is playing great . The team is 7-2 since Green returned from injury according to the tv broadcast now. Heck what should we do lol ? We sure could use a winning team. In eight straight games the wings have scored over 3 goals a game in each and are 7-1 in those games.. Mantha and Larkin are playing great. 31 goals over The last eight games is almost four goals a game at 3.875. It’s hard not to get excited.

Next 11 games. Go at least 4-2 at home and steal a road game here or there maybe !

They are playing well right now, I am hoping it stays that way while the young guys learn. I am not getting my hopes up yet it could flip at anytime.

Its still early in the season and 3 of the last 4 wins the team didn't deserve.





Plus there is only 1 team below 500 in the entire conference (and that is 1 point below). 500 means fuck all.
 
Then I’m torn. The radio show today all they talked about was tanking . It was depressing listening to it. So I turned it off.
 
Tanking does no good. Ask Buffalo, tanked for years and the last 3 they we went backwards. You can get good draft picks late.. we've had many.

Cholo and Veleno were both picked later and are looking to be good picks I'm with you when as many as we can and get the kids some winning experience. Now you may not get that immediate step right in and play impact full guy with a pick in the teens/early 20's but can for sure grab some good kids still...

While i wish we could have a top pick it appears these kids are trying real hard. Heck Grand Rapids won a cup a few years back .. I agree let them win now !
 
Bad outlet pass turnover . 1-0 Ottawa . Terrible pass. Neilsen at vet with a bad pass.

Goal by Green or Rasmussen I think. 1-1 now. Is Rasmussen the new Holmstrom at the front of the net?
