SI ranks all 32 starting QB's. Stafford ranked.......

I don't think I've ever hear someone defend Calvin based on his record. On the other hand I think that was what was implied in jdeb's post. I assume he is referring to the old LKP standby 11-5.

Tony I know it is a lot to ask of you to read more than one post above given the fact you have to put your finger to the screen to underline each letter and sound out each word. But do try to keep up with the discussion champ, after all this is a discussion board.

I'm not even talking about Jdeb's post, you fkn simpleton lol. But nice try. Hughes says Stafford's record is shit. Ok...fine. So is Calvin's, Suh's, Levy's. Get it? Nah, no chance on Earth you do. You're just not smart enough.

I have no idea how you are interpreting my posts. There is nothing between the lines.

Stafford is good on game tape in 2013/2014. 11-5 is just icing on the cake.

clearly you didn't watch all of the games.

2013- TB, Philly, Balt, NYG games he was terrible

He was good in those games. Many picks not his fault. And one of those games was a blizzard.

Plus you are judging from like 4 games. I'm judging from 33.

no...he was NOT good in those games. I am judging him on all of his games. He has had some good games, some average games, a few great games and some that were terrible. You disregard the terrible games & terrible plays or make excuses for them.

He was good overall. If you look at the past 33 games, good QB.

And he was good in those games. Many picks were not his fault. I'd say 6 of the 9 picks weren't his fault.

when compared to other starters he has been in the middle of the pack. If you want to call that good go right ahead. I call that average.

He's good compared to other starters on game tape considering the run game, protection, drops and weapon support.

Stafford is a good QB. Top 10 for sure, borderline top 5. Can't wait for this season to shut everyone up.

I thought you didn't compare him to other players? How in the world can you rate him borderline top 5?

Based on what he does for Detroit considering the circumstances. I don't use stats to compare.

So you watch all 16 games of all QBs (in the all 22 film format), analyze their run game, pass protections, separation, defense, weather conditions, drops to come up with your ratings?

I care about what Stafford does for the Lions. He does very good things. Things you all ignore for some reason.

And yes I've watched every team.

Every game of every team? Is all 22 format?

Takes 136 hours. About 10 hours a week. A little over 13 weeks. I watch most of them during the season though.

So you spend 31 minutes a game..assuming what you say is true...That gives you enough time to breakdown every play of every game?

Ignoring all special teams. That is approximately 15 seconds a play to diagnose the entire play and chart it all, assign credit or blame and get the next play cued up to start all over again. And this is 15 seconds to chart both the offense and defense. You sir are a machine....I'm surprised and NFL team hasn't scooped you up.

You are letting this guy troll you. I know, I get caught up in it too sometimes, but it is just a game.

I write it down as a I watch. Don't need to be scooped up. Just a fun hobby.
