"Hey coach I think we should go after this guy, he has a new record" - that doesn't happen. They look at tape. Game film. Not records that mean nothing at the next level.

Thats your response? Youre the biggest idiot on this board eh. Congrats!!

No shit they look at tape, you fn doofus.

and both of you geniuses gave me a short list of players who broke records, got drafted high but did jack in the NFL, right? Now tell me why these guys got drafted so high? Oh, let me!! It was because they were ballin, boys!!! Whatever it was they were doing in college worked. It doesnt always translate into the big show. My point was, when you put up sick numbers, theres a good chance you're going high in the draft. Not always but people notice .....

Most of the guys I listed didn't get drafted high at all. That was my point. Outside of ware but we're Detroit, we're dumb.

You're an idiot. No one says "hey coach the guy threw for 10000 yards" lets take him.

I never said that , you fn imbecile!! Reread my posts. I said it takes talent to break records. Dont sit there and tell me scouts dont notice that shit because they do. Doesnt mean theyre going in the draft but a lot of teams love these kids that put up big numbers. and some of them get drafted, its proven!! lol

Do you need a fn tshirt printed up for you to understand? JC!!

It takes college talent to break records. Not all but a lot. Athletic, sure, but for example, QB's that play for Houston and their run and shoot offense, yards are easy. I guarantee coaches and scouts don't look at number of yards when looking at a QB from Houston. More important, arm, height, intangibles, maybe 40 time, strength. But not yards.

to end the conversation..broyles was an obvious misjudgment of talent.

I don't know all the terminology, what's a gummer?

this is the first thing that popped up when I googled it...don't think its what cheeno was referring to since its talking about Nebraska and not Oklahoma.....maybe OK has the same thing...dunno:

A fat black man born and raised in the historically gay and black state of Nebraska. Predominatly found "spooking around" the streets of Omaha.

"That Nebraska Blue gummer Storm finger blasted his ass till it blead again and there is blood all over the carpet!!

My bad. Should have cleared that up. Nothing as gross as Hughes found online. Running joke is that the welcome committee at the Sooner pro day showed him such a good time he drafted four of their guys. Gummer = BJ.
