Spartans vs. terps at home

State giving 6 pts seems like a gift to terps fans and neutral players. I won't bet against State but no way I would give 6 to a top 15 team when we can't beat Texas Southern in our own gym. Have only seen about 10 minutes of Maryland basketball this year, strictly basing this call on what I've seen from us so far although they do seem pretty big (PG is 6'2" rest of guards are 6'4" or bigger, Fs are 6'8" or bigger and they have a 7' that gets 17 minutes a game) and athletic (score 75 pts a game and grab 37 rebounds). Having Dawson back will help but if he's not at full strength he could have trouble stopping Wells.

I hear you but even sitting Clark, they should have won that game. It will be interesting to see how we shoot the ball against bigger, more athletic guards and forwards and if Clark and Costello can get anything going inside (sadly, I actually expect more on offense from either of them than I do from Dawson).

Edit: if i was going to take any action on this game, it would probably be the under (total is 135) but I hate unders.

The walk ons should be able to compete with Texas Southern.

Give me Maryland for sure with that line. I think this is going to be a close game, but with the students gone we have no home court advantage and with Dawson coming back from injury I think he will be a little rusty. I will take the Terps winning a close one unfortunately.

Beating Iowa State is a pretty impressive win in my book - I think Iowa State has a good chance to win the Big 12 this year. I don't think it's a toss up but I wouldn't be totally shocked if we won the game but I think MSU -6 is nuts - that's not a "toss up" line.
