Stafford in Walking boot

Stafford needs to do what he did the first 3 games, get the ball out quickly. It was almost like it didnt matter what the Oline was doing early this season. Stafford was getting the ball out quickly, and was basically carving defenses up doing so. I dont know if his recent play is on the receivers for not getting open or on him completely. Id just like to know if his receivers were actually open during the first 3 weeks, or if he was throwing them open?

defenses have adjusted....we havent. They went zone and drop 6 guys to pockets 8-12 yards down the field. We either fit balls into coverage and make better throws, need more time to run deeper routes, settle for the check down, or run the ball better vs 8 man fronts. Out of that list the only thing we do consistently well is settle for the check down....and i dont think thats somethign to be proud of.

Not blaming Calvin for the loss or one drop. But I wouldn't put that play negatively against Stafford. Stafford missed short on the deep ball to Calvin and threw behind him in the redzone once. Calvin would have had 3 TDs if Stafford would have made better throws.

Im still trying to understand why stafford floats that ball 40 yds down the field. Its finally man 2 man coverage and he has the man well beat....all the good qbs in the league put that ball on a rope and lead him perfectly into the end zone. Instead he did his best Eli Manning impersonation....

According to Chris Mortensen:

"Gotta wonder if It's Shaun Hill vs. Tim Tebow. Stafford saying ankle injury in a "weird spot" sounds a little ominous."
