Stafford VS. Sanchez

Going into next year Stafford has as much talent around him as any QB in the league. Majority of QBs could finish as a Top 10 QB a good number could finish to 5. It will be hard to fail.

If he doesn't finish at or above 95 QB rating I think most would agree he is not the answer. He's running out of time to prove himself. This is Stafford and mayhews prove it year.

This isn't Favre era. He was statistically top 10 almost every year. In the current era that greatly favors the offense you can't throw as many interception, be as inaccurate. Being average favre isn't good enough anymore.

98 rating would be a monster improvement. If these coaches turn him into that kind of qb.....that would be an amazing job by the coaching staff not only installing a new offense but being able to make Stafford understand every nuance of it within a short period of time. Heck....id give Lombardi the coach of the year award if that happens lol.

He's had good and bad....games and years.....but its way too early to lock him into ANY group....he hasn't even played his age 26 season for gods sake!! He's played in ONE offense for a OC that we all viewed as AVERAGE at best......and for a head coach that has encouraged a gunslinger mentality.

I'm excited for the next couple years.....especially with the Tate signing and a potential high round WR that actually stays on the field.

Tate removes the final excuse people had for Stafford. First it was he is young, then it was online, then it was running game, then it was the lack of a WR behind the best WR in the game. The excuses are over, its time to show yourself. He's proven he's not elite, elite players can make players better. Now we will be able to judge if he can even be very good.

Stafford will be fine. Other than CJ our WR core was made up of 4's & 5's. When Calvin was playing at 75% Stafford was forcing passes. It was frustrating but you have to look at why things were happening.
