Stupid Tigers Trade Porcello for Cespedes + trade Suarez for Simple Simon from reds

The Simon trade was a dumpster fire.

Ended up getting the better of the Rick trade in all likelihood. That one is still left to be seen.

Safe to say many were wrong about Cespedes though no?

Man he was so frustrating , one game he would be unhittable , the next give up 20 hits haha . He was about what we expected for a 5th starter and some of us said he would give us the same thing Porcello would have . And thats pretty much what he did .

The best part about the Porcello trade is we didnt get suckered into locking him up long term at a ridiculous contract like the Red Sox gave him . That was my biggest fear .

Wow suarez and Crawford for simon. Now this is a disaster

Cincinnati obtained Suarez from Detroit in December 2014 as part of the trade that sent right-hander Alfredo Simon to the Tigers. Suarez hit .260 last season and set career bests with 26 homers, 82 RBIs and .828 OPS. He would have been eligible for free agency after the 2020 season.
Suarez has a .258 average with 64 homers and 223 RBIs in four major league seasons.
