Number they got to pick while in office.. interesting list. Someone can double check the list too . My eyes are fading tonight.

Washington got way too many picks - not fair.

And he wasn’t even a member of a political party.
 
The worst picks came from Andrew Jackson, with Reagan and George HW Bush tied for 2nd.
 
Since Nixon the GOP has had 13 out of the last 17 picks. Since FDR it’s 20 for the Democrats and 18 for the republicans. FDR did have 8 so that was a average of a tad less then one a year for how long he was in office. From 1900 to now it’s 33 for the GOP to 23 for the Democrats if I counted right. I didn’t count McKinley. With 8 of the 23 being FDR it is pretty safe to say the GOP has had the upper hand in getting picks to the court.
