Syria

The problem with Syria traditionally has been that Russia supports them and supplies them weapons. If all the fighting is internal, far better to stay away. Let them kill each other. Look at all the genocidal shit that happens continually in Africa. We condemn it, but we are sure as hell not sending in troops to stop it. Why? Because the other side would be just as willing to commit genocide of those who are actually doing it.

Solution? Stay out or kill them all. There is no peace to be found.

....You'd like to see good people win (for once) and for us to actually support good people (for once... since maybe South Korea?), but as usually, wars are messy and no one is ever innocent, and the innocent usually don't survive very long... so it will probably boil down to us supporting a new Assad because the old one has lost the iron grip and can't keep his people in line.

Israel...good people (generally speaking) whom we support and win despite being heavily outnumbered, through multiple attempts by their enemies to wipe them off the map...and still are trying for that. Granted some blame Israel for all the problems in the world and consider them bad or evil, so much depends on how one is convinced by their environment whether they are good or evil.

But isn't that the case in every conflict. No one sees themselves as wrong in these things.

Anyway, we gotta lob a few bombs on these fuckers now, just so Obama won't come off looking like a great big giant pussy.
