The homeless situation and the illegal alien situation are very different.

Virtually 100% of the chronically homeless are mentally ill or drug addicted or both. Not many of the people crossing the border illegally are mentally ill or drug addicted.

The hordes and hordes have already been coming forever. Border security and illegal immigration/employment has always been complex and nuanced, and both parties share responsibility for the situation.

we could just force the Coca-Cola corporation to use real sugar in the US, and we should double or triple their taxes while we're at it. We could also plant more avocado trees - although the wall will make it harder to get people to harvest the avocados.
