Tarik enters transfer portal

Just coming to post this as well. I hate to see it but wonder if it might mean that DPJ and/or Nico are staying.

Between poss of DPJ and/or Nico coming back, the rise of youngsters Ronnie Bell, Giles Jackson and Mike Sainristil ...along with the dozen or so TEs on the team, perhaps that and the recurring foot injury made the future in A2 look less appealing than a transfer. Best wishes, Tarik.

Black was a projected rd 2 pick comming into the year. Michigan has killed his draft stock. Not a surprise and not a big loss cause we rarely even used him. He'll do great somehwere else and gain his draft stock back. Good move for him.

Has a knack for running his route 1 yard short of the sticks...

Black never lived up to his potential. Foot injuries the first two years, but even after that he just wasn't the playmaker he was hyped to be. Best of luck to him.

Welp, there goes our chances in Columbus next year lol

So will Black play in the bowl game and will he finally show what he could have been at Michigan?

Per 'insiders' who broke the news, by entering the 'portal' he is officially done at UM.

That makes sense. I guess it is like saying screw you to the team to enter the portal when there is still a bowl game to play. The guy broke his foot twice and missed most of two seasons. How is that the coaches/teams fault?

Have you considered the possibility there are other factors and the young man just isn't happy?

I have no ill will towards him and wish him the best of luck. It sucks to see him go without ever really contributing but he's broken both feet and it derailed his progress enough that he isn't going to get an opportunity to show what he can do at Michigan. And even though they can stay at their current school after putting their name in the portal, it doesn't surprise me that the coaches tell them to go away once they make that decision. What does it tell the other 100 guys on the roster that are committed if you accommodate the guy that's quit.

He got a degree in 3 years, he was gracious in his statement and he dealt with a lot of adversity in his 3 years. Good luck, sorry that we'll never know what could have been if he hadn't gotten hurt in the 3rd game of his career.

If you go to OSU I take it all back and FUCK YOU!

OSU is receiving letters of intent today from what might be the greatest wide receiver class of all time. Seriously. No need to worry about Tarik becoming a Buckeye.

Getting a degree in three years kinda also closes the book on things, too.

I wasn't worried. Wouldn't affect the outcome of the game even if he did go to OSU.
