The Detroit Pistons All-Time Team

I immediately scanned the list for Yardley because he's usually forgotten. Was pleasantly surprised.

I was surprised Monroe and Drummond even made the honorable mentions. Both are good players, to be sure, but with so little time in the league and the general state of the team in those years I probably wouldn't have even had them in the running. Seems like a good list otherwise. For discussion's sake, I would have picked Chauncey over Rip. Not for the finals MVP, but because he was a better defender and more threatening one-on-one scorer.

Best and most true line ever "Though he could barely jump over a skateboard." - In reference to Laimbeer.

Whats your starting 5?

Thomas
Dumars
Hill
Rodman
Lanier

Bing and laimbeer off the bench? Had a tough time choosing bing or dumars. Went dumars for the lock down D.

I'd go Yardley over Hill. I would also add the Microwave on the bench.
