A client of mine and good, solid military dude told me he wouldn't be in Phoenix because he had to go to SD where the NAVY was going to commission a new ship in the fleet, named after his great-grandfather.

I asked why the NAVY would commission a ship like that and he replied, "he discovered the North Pole...."

it's absurd you can consider Obama/Biden incompetent, bad people, but consider some off-hand, political pandering from them on Iraq to somehow validate Bush's invasion & occupation of the country as a success.

So Obama made the same stupid mistake Bush did, saying anything about Iraq was a success or mission accomplished.

It's a huge glaring failure on the parts of both administrations. Of course there is the tiny detail that one administration got us in to the mess, and another got us out, but they are both responsible for the mess, though I would not say equally.
