So Willie Henry has made it official and has committed to UofM. I don't what the deal was with Ted Ginn Sr trying to leak it out last night, but it didn't affect Henry's decision.

I don't know if I'm that excited over Willie Henry. Yes, there are plenty of 3 star contributors on the team. Would the coaches have offered this guy if they hadn't missed on higher rated prospects? Are they taking a flyer on this kid because they have a few scholarships open? Is this a kid that they just didn't realize was good enough to play for Michigan until a week ago?

Don't give me the stuff about getting into Glenville either. Michigan could pick up a low rated player from Glenville anytime they want.

That being said, if they are truly taking a flier on the guy, then its good to get him from the midwest. I still don't think they are all of a sudden going to make inroads into Glenville, though.

Kid has good size, at only 270 and 6'3" he has a lot of room to add good weight. He will most definitely have to RS, and then probably won't see much action until he is a Junior. Even if he is raw talent, what better program to get coached up.

I know people love his highlight tape, but a highlight tap is as good as a porno. Its filmed that way to look good, and get people excited. I like the kids build, I don't know shit about his technique. However UM is where the Greatest Defense in College Football is being built.

All that the star rating means really is how college ready there are or their potential.

I havent been able to keep up this year as much as I usually do so I was hoping somebody could fill me in on any possible commits tomorrow or are we pretty much done. I know that Peat was talked about early and is still available are we still talking to him?

From what everyone has been saying he could be one of the best corners Cass Tech has had in years.
