The newer, fresher Official New ][V][ichigan Head Coach/Jim Harbaugh Search Thread

I am now wondering if the 49ers and Harbaugh made a deal that basically lets him go to U of M without a buyout and he wont make them fire him and pay him the last year of his NFL contract. It gets him away from the Oakland job which would make the 49ers look bad if he was able to win there.

With the players' meeting over my guess is we hear little if anything til after SF's finale.

So now we wait...

I think Oakland is a dumpster fire of an organization and only proximity to SF is appealing. Miami is out (thank you Mr Ross) and New York is hardly where you seek change following a dysfunctional relationship with ownership and management.

Bears won't match UM offer and entire family and friends ...former teammates and every breathing MICHIGAN fan on the planet is calling him to Ann Arbor.

I wonder if it would violate the agreements if, after talking to the MSM post game Sunday, he removed his Niners hat and put on a UM hat. I think that would be a nice way for him to easily let everyone know. There is nothing he needs to actually say, just switch caps and walk off.

He's classier than that.

It will be a very sincere press conference in Ann Arbor.

Well I wasn't trying to be crass with the idea, he would obviously have a press conference in Ann Arbor. Was implying he wouldn't be able to say anything, but by switching caps he basically tells everyone his next destination while having plausable deniability if someone tries to claim he violated a contract due to fact he played at UM. During the MSM interview he would still not likely be able to say anything, but he could use this action to simply speak for him.

Why would anyone walk to Ann Arbor? Doesn't really seem the smart thing to do.

Yep.

I really can't think of a smart reason to walk to Ann Arbor.

If a person wants to get to Ann Arbor, and has no other way to get there other than walking, that person probably has shit going on in their life that is worse than not being able to get to Ann Arbor any other way than walking there.

My advise would be to work on fixing that other shit first, then worry about how to get to Ann Arbor a different way than having to walk.
