Well .....the season is finally here!!

Shark-humping Jim McElwain has been busy taking digs at coach Harbaugh who in kind, says only pleasant things about Mac, while sending him a list of all the current MICHIGAN WOLVERINES playing in the NFL as the Roster.

Hilarious.

Hilarious too was the laugher the last time these teams met and MICHIGAN absolutely decimating the McElwain-lead Gators in their home state of Florida, 41-7.

Riding a 3-game neutral site losing streak against MICHIGAN, the Gators find themselves a day late and 8 players short ...due to various nefarious activities and violations. Vegas seems to have taken notice and adjusted the line so that MICHIGAN is favored -3.5 with an Over/Under of 45 total points. ***[EDIT] Due to more lying cheating, stealing and suspensions, the line has moved to MICHIGAN -5 with an Over/Under now at 43 total points... one sports book at M -5.5 now.

Florida's defense is good and has been consistently good for quite a few years. No way I can see this as a blowout with how young and inexperience we are. Speight will likely be our biggest advantage as UF seems to have no clue who to play at QB. Their biggest strength is their OL and RB Jordan Scarlett. Thankfully that play into our biggest strength, the defensive front 7. I fully expect a defensive battle in this one, but our advantage at QB gets us the win.

When I saw the line was "only" -5.5, I was shocked. I am usually dead wrong when I am shocked about a line, so...

I think the M defense will cause problems for the Florida offense, timing and QB play. I expect a somewhat pedestrian Michigan offense that takes a couple shots during the game, but otherwise plays ball control. Speight is solid, Evans will show and the Defense will either score or lead to shorter drives for the offense.
