Congratulations to those who called for a Penn State win ...Monster had the margin of victory pretty close again, but total points and 4OTs later ....
Anyways, on to the Indiana Hoosiers.
Jimmy Chitwood must have been thinking of Brunette girls when he hit that game winning shot against South Bend Central in the iconic Gene Hackman classic, Hoosiers. Unfortunately for Indiana fans, Saturday will be football and not basketball and Jimmy Chitwood won't be on the field.
And even if it were a basketball game on Saturday, MICHIGAN would still be the better team, but I digress ....
Indiana's decisive win over Penn State two weeks ago has some MICHIGAN haters applying the transitive property of fan rationalization and saying, "Because Indiana beat Penn State and Penn State beat Michigan, Indiana will beat MICHIGAN..."
Not even a 6yr old falls for that mentally shallow reasoning, but then again we don't really expect sound reasoning from folks filled with envy and rage towards MICHIGAN when talking about Michigan's chances.
And a former housemate of mine from over 15yrs ago and who went to Indiana has been running his mouth all week via text and is damn certain Indiana will follow its first ever win over Penn State with a win over the Michigan Wolverines.
I guess we'll see - I called his bluff and said I'd take MICHIGAN for $1000 but that he had to put the money on the table first. Suddenly he isn't as cocky about his alma mater's chances, but that's wholly irrelevant to the game at hand or the players involved.
So post your predictions with some supportive analysis if you wish, but leave the woofing and barking for other threads.
