The Official Minnesota vs ][V][ichigan Game Thead

well it could have been better but that that was a rushing clinic beat down . Didn't Minnesota have a decent run defense?

Iowa had 243 rushing yards and 244 passing yards vs OSU. Michigan needs to get their passing game going if it wants to beat OSU.

And four int's or turnovers to.. Not sure if there was a fumble in there too. This was a classic overconfidence game .. osu just had a amazing comeback in their own crib and thought they were going to roll Iowa . Well we all did but the Big ten is sprinkled with alot of really above average teams and Opps Iowa came to play.

I'm curious when the last time we had a +4 or even just a +3 turnover game was.

that kind of thing just doesn't seem to happen to us when we need it for some reason.

the football gods are rarely, if ever, on Michigan's side.

this year, our best game TO-wise was IU... +2. only time we've been +2 all year. +1 yesterday. everything else was 0 or worse.

I don't think Peters has a TO yet. I'm astounded.

Michigan had several chances at fumbles yesterday and also in the MSU game, but the ball seemed to bounce right back to the fumbler, or into the hands of another player on the other team. I think you are right Champ, the football Gods don't favor Michigan in this regard. Would hope Bo would have some influence there.

I'm convinced the football gods are all SEC "if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin' hurr" types.

explains Jim Tressel's success in the Big Ten.

Dantonio is the 2nd luckiest coach I've ever seen. I don't think he is a cheater, but he's obviously made some other Faustian bargain to get where he is.

inexplicable thing is how RR failed in Ann Arbor. maybe he wasn't so much a coach here, as he was a divine punishment to all us Michigan football fans who really believed "anybody can win 9 games a year at Michigan."
