What happened to Fitz? Funchess? Fitz has been a nonfactor this season. Just can't get anything going.

This is actually a good point. It easy to put up video game numbers for denard against shit teams. Against decent defenses you need to have a more balanced offense and not try to rely on denard so much. Hoke should have realized that by now after years of unexplained, horrid turnovers.

Yeah, I feel I would be much better off if I could unsee what I just saw and pretend to just come into the living room, turn on the tv, and see its the start of the 2nd half with ND winning 10-0. That would be much better for my sanity.

I think Michigan has called a good game outside of the Smith pass play, they've kept ND off balance with misdirection and trickery and them went Max Protection for a time to give Denard some time.

ND has a very good front 7.

So maybe you just stop asking Denard to cut it through the air. I don't think you go and pull him. I just think you stop asking him to do that which he does poorly, like go in the shotgun and throw down the middle of the field.

fitz hasnt been given a chance to get going either. we need to line up in the i and hand the ball off and go from there. we havent given fitz a chance any game so far. the air force game and this one are just sporadic carries and thats not helping him out. the worst part is denard started off so good before he started pressing it.
