So today marks the end of another season of ][V][ichigan football. And the end of another failed coaching regime. The Coach of football past is off to play in his conference Championship. The Coach of football present hopefully has a moving truck backed up to his office door this morning. And the Coach of football future? Well, time will tell.

The season was a mess. The team seems to be in shambles. But as ][V][ichigan fans, we can all agree on one thing......

GameDay just wedged Lebron James into the urban Meyer interview.

How fucking pathetic.

Feeling completely beaten down as a fan. I cannot simply "not watch" the game today, but there's a big part of me that doesn't want to watch. I don't see this being at all competitive.

I'll probably do what I did back in 2007, when my dad and I said we were going to watch Pitt (with a backup QB and 28.5 point underdogs) play at WVU until it became a blowout, then we'd go do something else. I still can't believe that happened, and it's probably the only thing that'll get me to watch the debacle I think today is going to be. I think today is going to make 2010 look close.

The only solace is that it will bring needed change. And who knows, it may just be moving the chairs on the deck of the Titanic. But at least it's something. I was concerned back in 2010 about the coaching search, because I was fearful that UM was going to hire a new guy who wasn't as good a coach as the outgoing guy.

At least now NO ONE should be worried about that!

I really thought Hoke was the answer. Another sad year for Michigan football. April cant get here soon enough.

Brady Hoke loves Michigan and loves his players. That 1st night game against ND was amazing. I would love for things to have worked out for Hoke. I would really love for him to have a Lloyd Carr-style miracle sendoff.

At least we have a game like this where we feel differently about football, and the intensity is so much higher.

My old man went to Pitt. He speaks fondly of the battles with Notre Dame, Penn State, and WVU. Pitt plays ND sporadically, has PSU returning in two years for a home and home, and WVU has disappeared from the schedule.

I guess it's better to have a rivalry like this where even though you're getting your ass beat over the last decade, at least you have it, and the hopes of it turning around in the future.

Yep that is what makes it hard to see the failure

I too struggle with watching this game

Just want this to end so we can move on

ESPN college pre-game is about as bad as NFL pre-game. I cant watch that good old boy hyperbole for four hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I think i like nascar better than pregame

Apparently ohio st fans and Fred Jackson got into it on sideline. Players pulled him back per twitter Meanwhile Fred's son is qb in state high school championship today

He reports they were like Westboro Baptist taunters, but louder and more inflammatory.

I'm just hoping for a little bit of fight left in our team. Go Blue.

GO BLUE! If Michigan can possibly keep it close and knocks OSU out of the NC playoff Michigan wins!

Flawless execution of special teams blocking assignments
