PSU is getting the short passes underneath and curls at the sideline for the 1st down. D needs to keep the pressure on the QB and the backs have to keep watch for the underneath pass.

I truly believe these OL (freshies and sophs) are going to be very good, but I think it's clear that they're only so-so at the moment. Realistically, you don't want freshmen or sophs to start on the line (either side) but our senior/junior depth is atrocious.

can't run the ball with the RBs tonight. DG would be better off in the gun. Normally, I'd be saying the same thing, but with Lewan out, the gun is the best option.

Blocking straight ahead is better than trying to stretch it on stretch plays. Green needs to come in and they need to go straight. Get 3 yards a pop. I believe they can do that. Fitz just isnt strong enough of a back to run him straight ahead for smashmouth ball.
