The Official THE GAME Game Thread

I have been rooting for Michigan for a long time, and this is a pretty big letdown. It wasn't even close. I thought Harbaugh's excellent coaching would give the team a pretty good chance to win. As of the previous weeks, it seemed like things were going right for Michigan. On the other hand, Ohio State certainly showed their weakness last week. Looking back at the season, though, I thought this is sort of how it would go. After we lost to Utah and had some good wins, I still thought MSU and OSU would be too tough. And I guess I proved right. Not that I need to boast of such amazing predictions.

Uh, not to burst your bubble....

But this is just about what everyone said would happen when it came to those three games.

I'm happy to be proven wrong; I thought for sure there'd be a couple games UM should have won but didn't...maybe BYU, at Penn State or Indiana, etc.

After a loss like today, the fucked up MSU punt is even more painful; at least we could have pointed to that as a sign of hope, that in year 1, 10-2 with a big win over a rival.

Ah well, at least this year there's a bowl game after the OSU disappointment!

It's the first time since 2007 Michigan has gone into The Game still in the hunt for the Big 10 championship.

Oh yeah, I'm not trying to promote myself as some sort of great football prognosticator.

No matter what happens, I'll be excited to see M in a bowl game. Last year they missed the bowl-season. Last Michigan bowl game: Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, loss to Kansas State, Dec 28 2013. Gosh darn it. When I was growing up, Bo Schembechler and took the Wolverines to the Rose Bowl. And hopefully we will get back there at some time in the future.

Pi too expected the same three loses

Just didn't expect defense too look so bad today

My soul still hurts. Probably a good day for yard work and rock ballads.
