The speed trap. I was always warned about that when going through Ohio*, lol.

I don't know, lol. But I always remember going to Ohio* and cops would be camped out as you enter.

Yah, the speedtrap is Ohio. Most people in Michigan don't even think about Indiana.

What's up with these maps? Last week there was a Texas one going around and before that, the world accd to the US map..

Isn't that Indiana...

You could drive through the whole state of Indiana and not see a trooper. In Ohio if your only seeing them every 50 miles your doing good.

If I remember correctly, this is before Michigan went to 70mph, Ohio* had a lower speedlimit. So going 65 and then bam, 55 -- cops paradise.

Indiana raised their speed limit to 70 a couple years ago.

ohio is notoriously bad. it's not even close

I think Ohio still has a lower speed limit, except on the Turnpike, which was raised to 70 a while back.

It's definitely true that the Highway Patrol is every-freakin'-where down here. I've even seen them on some of the smaller highways; I swear I saw at least 3-4 of them on Rt. 36 alone one time. On the other hand, I think I've seen exactly one cop on a Michigan highway. I've heard it's because they're trying to nab the truckers on I-75, leaving 23 (which I take almost exclusively) un-patrolled.

they jsut raised the turnpike about 6 months ago

i go to cleveland about every 6 weeks and was excited

Cedar Point isn't in Ohio,...?

Unless there is another place

Its in Sandusky, Ohio

Ohio is a speed trap but unlike in Michigan the State boys have to be in plain sight, not hiding behind overpass viaduct's. They are usually in emergency lanes.

Going 70 is your best bet, but you Mich drivers don't know how to drive (just like Ohio drivers) so you are always jammin in the left lane not just passing. Also cops usually only pull over the first car or the last in a group.
