The entire campaign has imploded. Stupid to the core. I'd retract every retired number immediately.
 
Yep, only the 21 worked out well.

but it's hard to succeed when your OC calls the same stupid play over and over that hasn't worked all day.
 
Personally, I LOVED the roll Devin to the left on 3rd down on that last offensive series. Just brilliant!

He's got an OL that can't do a damn thing, so he runs stretch plays. Because plays take so damn long, opposing LBs crash the gaps and blitz like hell, yet how many times do we see quick slants and screens?

I bet Al Borges was a great OC when he had Cade McNown, Ronnie Brown/Cadillac Wiliams/ Jason Campbell, etc. But I'm thinking more and more that McNown, Brown, Williams, and Campbell made Al Borges, and not the other way around. In fact, it's not even close.
 
They ran one screen play, it went for like 40 yards...nah! We gotta mix it up!

I agree.. what next? Give Derrick #32. Countess #2. Its dumb. I'd tell no. I'll create my own legacy.
 
The most amazing thing to me is borgess can't figure out how to use funchess correctly. Watch any nfl game with a dynamic te and he can crush a defense....we just spread him out like a wr and get him 3 catches a game. ...so dumb.

Just run streaks like the Pats did with Gronk and Hernandez with Butt. Good spread teams even though we aren't one kill teams with TE that should be receivers.

It's not going to happen. It should have been obvious to anyone that something needed to change after the Akron and UConn games. Nothing changed. They kept running the same plays that weren't working, and Fitz has gotten worse and worse, and the O line has gotten worse and worse. The last two games have been an embarrassment. Negative rushing yardage. I expect that next week they will run the same plays. In hope of what I have no idea. That NW will not be expecting them, that Iowa will not be able to handle them?

What was it that Hoke said about Michigan being an elite program? Well, Minnesota used to be an elite program back in the 1930s and 40s. Now they are excited to have won 5 games in a row. They are not an elite program now. Is Michigan on the same path? Part of being the coach of an elite program is continuing the winning tradition, winning big games, and not allowing embarrassing performances like we have seen from this team this season. Not just the last two weeks, but Akron, UConn also. After today's loss I don't really expect much of this team for the rest of the season. If they beat NW and/or Iowa, great. Will they? I doubt it. I'll watch the games, but I am not really expecting much. Coach Hoke, you and your team were being booed today in the Big House, I hope you got the message.
 
I know it won't happen I was just saying they should think outside the box sometimes but it's hard when you have so much arrogance in the coaching staff.

or just line him up at TE so you can man him up with a lb or safety?

Borges couldn't use Denard correctly b/c Denard doesn't fit his offense. He can't use Funchess correctly b/c hybrids like him don't come around very often. he can't use Gardner in his offense because he has a skill set that differs from what he's used to.

Well shit, Al, keep fucking up until you get the 11 guys whose profiles are EXACTLY what you're looking to get! We'll wait. :argh:
