WHY on earth would conservatives want to go back to 1960? They've gotten practically every single thing they've wanted since 1980. We're making progress... destroying middle class, 2-parent families is just collateral damage. THIS IS THEIR PARADISE! Don't take it from Fox, MSNBC, CNN, etc.... look at the numbers.

We have everything they wanted back then! Goldwater in 1964 could've only dreamed of a nation with such low tax rates, unions with little to no political power outside of a few areas (and practically none nationally), totally unregulated industries, outsourced cheap labor in 3rd world sweatshops, high income disparity, and talk of gutting social security, medicare, and medicaid now politically acceptable, and openly voiced by both parties!

Now that you can all see this lighted path is better, come follow me down it so you won't not trip and fall, potentially causing incredible pain and suffering." Nonetheless, the now "enlightened" masses continue trudging down their separate yet equal paths of darkness, trying to convince themselves that their path is the justifiable one and the other side is really the only ones in the dark, because they can see so clearly down their respective unilluminated path.
