If the game is tied after 8 inning's or later.. They just had a spot on Jose's save and non-save problems on MLB network and they mentioned this stat.

The word "clutch" just does not fit this team.

Not before hit, not before pitching, not before defense, not before baserunning/steals, and certainly not before coaching/managing.

Maybe 2013 will be our year, but then I'm nervous about our rotation (I expect Scherzer and Porcello to be gone), we'll need a new closer, still a huge hole at 2B and probably not much FA money, and in all likelyhood starting off under new management.

Baseball is a streaky ass game. All that has to happen is for guys to start being "clutch," which they have not been, as MI Thumb pointed out, instead of sucking in the clutch.

This is why they call it "a game of inches".
