Who would be a better Commissioner of Major League Baseball, Rob Manfred or Scott Boras? I asked that question in a Twitter poll a few days ago, and the super-agent won in a landslide. Boras garnered 83.8%, while Manfred received a mere 16.2%

The Tigers have requested unconditional release waivers on Ramos, the team announced.

The Detroit Tigers rank #29 in Defensive Runs Saved with a -29. They are just 1 run out of last place. Twenty teams sit with positive numbers.
No surprise that their worst position is at SS with -15 DRS. Their best defensive player is Robbie Grossman with 0 DRS. He is the only one not in negative numbers.

Tomorrow is when umpires will start checking on the sticky stuff. The SP Cole says he thinks 75% to 100% use it. We'll see who's good and who isn't.
