haha, just called that shot to my wife. She said "maybe you should have said that 3 months ago."

Good Reports on Tigers Berry: Right shoulder bruise, x-rays negative. As for Scherzer - no structural damage, will be examined again in few days.

MRI shows no structural damage on Scherzer. Won't throw for a couple days before being analyzed from there.

Shit.....I stepped away and missed our 1st grand slam of the year!!

Only fitting that Cabrera hits it!! What a beast.

Cabrera gives Tigers their first grand slam of the year and gives him his first 40-homer season. 12-2 on 8th.

Miguel Cabrera is first Tiger with 40 homers in a season since Cecil Fielder in 1991. Sixth player in club history to hit 40.

Cabrera hits first grand slam of year, giving team 12-2 lead over #Athletics. 3rd career GS, 40th HR. 6th Tiger with 40 HRs.

Miguel Cabrera's third career GS. He's the first to 40 HRs on a season for #Tigers since Cecil Fielder in 1991.

Cabrera's 6 RBI tie career high.

Loud "MVP" chants for Cabrera. And Triple Crown now back in view. Cabrera leads in avg and RBIs, and is two behind Hamilton for HR lead.

Cabrera has established career highs with 40 HR and 129 RBI -- he has also reached 100 runs scored for the 3rd straight season.

I'm, so tired of Delmon.

At least it's only for another 15 games.

We need Kansas City to come back and beat the soxs else it's just another day.
