Tigers vs. braves Spring Training March 4

Wow, this pitcher is on the bus home in about 1 more inning.

Raburn rounded 3rd and asked Lamont, "Holy shit!, it is August already?".

Man...if Raburn can hit for an entire season as if it were the second half, and Boesch the opposite, and AJax like he had (or better) in '10... and the team can remain very healthy overall, then look-out MLB teams/pitchers, as their eras will be climbing quickly vs this potentially offensive "juggernaut" team. Not gonna be completely homerish, as there will still be "those" games vs certain pitchers...when they won't be able to buy a rally. (Leyland's Sunday afternoon lineups in June, vs NL teams, esp. on the road come to mind) and they might need to completely rely on the occasional solo homers to still win those games.

Raburn hits another HR. Tigers lead 15-1, and I'm skeptical of the safety of pitchers running on the warning track today.

Avisail Garcia's 5th-inning grounder through the right side produces Tigers first single.

Avilsail Garcia scores on wild pitch for 16-1 Tigers lead. Pretty much had to take that one.

Tigers beating Braves 17-1. They have hit eight home runs. I

From the sound of it wind is blowing all over and some HR have gotten knocked down like the one by AJ and HR by BB, Peralta and Ajwould have went regardless where they were.

Grounder to 3rd, lol. It sounded like he had to go to his right but pretty routine. But they said he had a great arm on the throw.

I see Miggy had a error. Anybody hear what kind of play it was?

Comment was Cabrera made a good try at cutting off a ground ball to his left.

Danny Worth adds a solo home run. Tigers lead 18-1 with nine home runs.

The wind is playing a big factor, but the Braves aren't having any luck.

Wind-aided homers or not, so much for the Braves skipper's comments yesterday about both of these teams' pitchers being far ahead of the hitters early this spring.

Tigers win 18-3. Tigers' HRs: Avila, Raburn x 2, Boesch, Fielder, Young, Peralta, Jackson, Worth. Raburn's 2nd was a grand slam.
