Question bout starting rotations

Why is it that the Indians have great starting pitching from guys who aren't 1st or 2nd rounders. We struggle in our minor leagues and hope our studs are any good. The Indians lose 2 pitchers to being idiots with the virus and still roll out guys who can dominate. What do the Indians do? And why don't we copy their game plan!

Platte is spot on. Our management and coaching flat out stink. We can only trot out 1 half way decent starter and other teams reload and develop younger players.

Fucking Maybin swings at the damn first pitch . Candy swings on a 3-1 count when in my opinion he should be taking. Tigers losing again. This time after getting decent pitching.

Now 0-4 without CJ. Tigers now 0 for the last 19 against Cleveland and fall to 9-9 after a 9-5 start that should have been 11-3. Our GM is a very poor Gm.
