Boxscore from espn

Rick Porcello has had his share of success against the Cleveland Indians during his young career. But this season has been a different story.
Porcello (12-8, 5.01 ERA) is 4-1 with a 4.06 ERA in 10 career starts vs. the Indians, but he is 0-1 with a 9.42 ERA in three starts against Cleveland this season.
Porcello, who will start tonight for the Tigers, has allowed 15 earned runs and 25 hits in 14 1/3 innings pitched vs. the Indians this season. He had allowed 11 earned runs in 43 1/3 innings against the Indians heading into the 2011 season.
Mlive

Lefties hitting slightly better vs. Carmona, but not a huge disparity. Betemit hitting .154 (2-for-13), Kelly 0-for-2. Inge 6-for-29 (.207).
Cabrera is hitting 10-for-34 (.294) with 3 HRs, VMart 4-for-11 (.364) with 3-2Bs, Avila 4-for-11 (.364) with 4 BBs.

A win tonight would be a dagger for the Indians. With Verlander on the mound tomorrow, I expect the Indians to come out fighting for their lives against Porcello

Would be really nice to see Rick have a solid outing. A win tonight would be huge. I know JV is going tomorrow but Smokes says he will rest a bunch of the starters so he may not get much run support.

I would like to see AJax learn to bunt, both for hits and to sacrifice. I think it would open up some holes for him as well if they had to play in more.

And Delmon Young draws his first walk as a Detroit Tiger.

I agree 100%. He should also learn how to steal a base. He has the speed...I just don't think he knows how to use it.

and Martinez makes him pay, wow both Young and Cabrera score,

Tigers lead 2 - 0.

Avila keeps it going with a single, Victor to second,

caveman carmona already over 20 pitches.

Peralta with a 4 straight 2 out hit and Martinez scores, Avila to third,

Tigers lead 3 - 0
