Gardy cussed on live teevee while giving his somewhat salty postgame presser...aahahaa!!

Cabrera struck out 3x, and 2 were with a runner on base or in scoring position. Been a VERY long time since the seasons/games back when he would come to the plate in those situations, and I would be guessing between him hitting a 2 run homer, OR a 2 rbi double...oh well.

8 games left?

Tigers will likely go 3-5, IF winning one tomorrow night or on Sunday vs tribe, losing both games @ twins, who will be fighting for home-field WC seeding, and then perhaps splitting their short-season ending 4 games @ royals, in a possible battle for the ALCD cellar-dwelling crown!! The royals (21-30) are a half game ahead of the Tigers (21-29) and will have played a complete 60 games (barring game-cancelled rainouts that don't affect postseason seeding/clinching) while the Tigers will have played less @ 58).

I find it hilarious that the twins most likely opponent drawn in the first round of the postseason, is none other than the yankees yet AGAIN, who have dominated them in every series that they have met, and HFA or not since the turn of the century. The twins having won just ONE game each time @ best!! Unlike the Tigers, who have dominated the yankees when they have faced off during the postseason in each series.

The real problem with this team, it loses to often. When you lose 1-0 its got to be the "0"ffence. Or the pitching just did not get them out, when needed.
1-0 Get some hitters.
