Gameday from mlb.com

Thought it would be interesting to see how the Tigers put together their lineup for Yu Darvish, an obviously unique pitcher whom they haven’t seen before. It’s a pretty standard lineup for Detroit tonight, the one change being that Don Kelly gets the start over Ryan Raburn. Kelly will play left field, with Delmon Young at DH.

Normally I would not be happy about Don Kelly and Santiago getting starts on the same day, but I guess neither could do much worse than Raburn lately.

Also hoping Wilk will be good, after taking that hard shot foul ball from Prince off this throwing shoulder.

Andy Dirks hamstring is not serious enough for DL -- figures to play this weekend.
Intends to do some bp hitting tonight.
Fister, is looking more like a month...

I am very excited about the 9-3 start but I would like to add some perspective. This team will need to go 26-2 over their next 28 games to equal the start they had in 84. That still is one of the most amazing prolonged hot streaks ever. Anyways, this should be a very exciting series. Hope the bats warm up. GO TIGERS.

Fucking FSD+, hate not watching the games.

Why the fuck are Pistons ever on over the Tigers?

It makes no sense, nobody watches the Pistons.

Pistons are the ugly stepchild now with the Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions all good. :p

Wilk alternated between 3 singles and 2 K's. 1-0 Rump Rangers. Wilk threw 21 pitches. We're going to need to score some runs tonight.

Hopefully HP Ump Estabrook calls the strike zone that tight for Darvish too.

Nothing on the black for Wilk.

I think I will use the Al Kaline bat today.. Going to head for the basement TV get us in boy's.

Tigers batting 1st inning,

Jackson flys to right,

Boesch full count, another foul, fastball low for a walk, and the first of the year,

Cabrera takes a fastball high, again, fastball fouled back, swings and misses, fouled back, fights off an inside pitch with Boesch running and a fielders choice grounder to short safe at second,

Fielder rips a grounder to second,

F Yu with 19 pitches,
and what is that hair coloring?
