I'm guessing he does that without even thinking about it just a natural follow through he has when it felt perfect off the bat.

Max hasn't had his best night, but he's shown his inner bulldog and made some tough pitches. Max is showing a little more mental toughness as of late. 99 on the gun for him the last pitch. Guy has an electric arm.

Not quite Verlander, but 99 mph on Scherzer's 111th pitch (98 on TV) is still pretty good. Sets up Scherzer's 8th strikeout to end 6th.
