In this 4 game losing streak.. for the first time in 2?months Soto Cisnero Funkhauser all allowed big hits to lose games ..plus Mize Manning Skubal all allowed big HR..part of a season.

What's the downside to the Detroit Tigers signing all of these top draft picks? Many of them have Scott Boras as their agent. Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal, Jackson Jobe, Izaac Pacheco, Spencer Torkelson and others are his clients.

This means that the Tigers have a max of 5 years to promote, develop and play all these players together in their quest for October baseball. The 6-year service time clock has already started for Mize and Skubal. After this year, they'll have 5 years left of team control. But....

... the biggest issue with the players as they start negotiations on the new CBA is the service time rules. They want to cut the number of years a team has control over players. So that window for the Tigers? It could become smaller......
