Same old at bat by Stewart. Runners on 1st and 2nd no outs. Easy fly out to center,his average is down to .175..l. He is a mess at the plate.

Tigers have nearly reached the late Sparky's "40 game" assessment mark, and while a 18-21 short-season record makes them barely mediocre, its a clear improvement over 2019, esp after losing their starting first baseman and center fielder for the season.


Expecting the team to go 11-10 or better for the remaining 21 games of the season is likely unrealistic. After 2 home vs brewers and 2 road @ cards midweek, the rest of their games are vs and @ division rivals. So the team going 9-12 is probably the best that they can or will do...with perhaps a '21 draft slot btw 10th and 13th.
