Wow. Cabrera is a beast. He was waiting for the slider and couldn't have caught it any better.

Miggy with another Bomb!! The question now is can Miggy get to 100 RBI

Tigers lead 2 - 0,

Verlander 5 innings, 79 pitches, 1 run, 3 hits, 8 K's,

Tigers lead 2 - 1,

Miguel Cabrera hits 300th HR as a member of the Tigers. Miggy is the 4th player in club history w/ 300 HRs, joining Kaline, Cash & Greenberg.

Cabrera is also the 3rd active player to hit 300 HRs with 1 team,
joining David Ortiz (476 HRs w/ BOS) and Ryan Howard (377 HRs w/ PHI).

Miguel Cabrera now has 38 career multi-homer games and 5 this season (last, 7/31 vs. HOU).

Justin Verlander has struck out 200 batters in a season for the 6th time in his career and 1st time since 2013.

Must be nice to have base runners that can move from 1st to 3rd without making an out.

Looks like they're trying to coax seven innings out of JV

Why the hell did he start AA off with a fastball? Same shit as last week!

F'n Alice Avila with another homerun against Verlander.
Avila blows for 4 years and now hits 2 homeruns vs. JV in less than a couple of weeks.

Seems like the bottom of the order gives JV problems lately. Wonder if he's trying to ease up to save some gas.

Miguel Cabrera 6th 4-hit game of the season.
Only Jos? Altuve (8) has more in the majors this year.
