I didn't think I would be here to post the game thread.
Probably be gone before or during game.

Someone please add Gameday when available.
Are any of you still having problems for the site/page to load?
Terrible timing last night with the nfl draft.

Great protection for Prince. Seriously why isn't Avila batting 5th?

smoker just won't let go of Jackson leading off and Boesch hitting 2nd will he? have Kelly lead off with Peralta or Avila hitting 2nd and 5th. Christ sakes do I have to give Jimmy another call to straighten his ass up?

Round 2 and 3 of the Draft or Tigers? hmmm man this is tough because its JV and we got the new DH in the lineup that I'd like to see. probebly going to go with round 2 and 3 first, maybe try flipping back and forth but I don't know it's so hard not getting all upset when I watch the Tigers offense, maybe if I just stop watching they'll do better. I'll try that tonight.

Jackson has been fine at leadoff.

Overall, the lineup is a joke though.

Actually the more I think about it, I was away during the Boston Series and never saw any of those games. This might work!!

Don Kelly batting 5th??????????? Smokey at it again.... Also I have heard that Raburn will now be the full time second basemen, and Eldred will be the full time DH.....

Jim and DD are having a roster tiff..

I heard on the Radio that DD will be addressing the media on the pregame show tonight to discuss the Young situation...

maybe to start the season, Jackson was doing good, but the last week or so it's all down hill.

All players will have ups and downs.

Through his last 8 games Jackson is hitting at a .094/.171/.219 clip.

On the surface this is terrible, but when you factor in he has only struck out 6 times, and walked 3 times with two of those three hits going for extra bases, one a HR and the other a double, and it's pretty clear he's not performing poorly...he's getting unlucky.

Over this time period Jackson has a BABIP of .080, if that were a .300 BABIP (which is well below what Jacksons career BABIP is), he'd be hitting .280.

Jackson is fine at leadoff.
