If Leyland doesnt come out and say "Delmon Young is our permanent DH" after today, I have ill will for the rest of the season.

If anyone I'd want completely gone after Inge, it'd be K-Burn. Man oh man does he stink in large chunks at a time.

I would like Inge gone and DY the regular DH until Martinez comes back... I hate to say it but Raburn is a much better left fielder then Young.. (God that hurt to say).. But then you do that and Young complains because he is in a contract year and wants to play the field...

I don't have an issue with his bat at all. But yes, he is clueless in LF.

Defensive wise I agree, should have Dirks out there. But he's batting .300, there are certainly worse guys on the Tigers, Inge - K Burn - Schereth to name a few..

He is awful in the field but he did get us the only runs today... He will pout if he is the DH like he should be... I really don't understand... Even if he hits as a DH he could still get a decent contract next year... I mean every club knows it takes him 20 steps to get to a ball when it normally should take him 5... But at least he can hit better the Inge.. Young won't be a Tiger next year in my opinion anyway so why worry about it..

And saying Raburn over Young in left fielder is like saying i prefer death by hand grenade over being twisted and twirled and eaten by a crocodile... Neither is ideal but Young should be DH if he is costing us runs in the field like he does all the time..

He gave us 2 runs with a HR and then two innings later gave them right back after a circle jerk on a fly ball that became a 3-base error.

I only saw the misplayed ball in the ninth... Should have been caught and yet Daniel S. never has much luck..DY also hit a two run homer too. Sox fielding saved them 3 runs today.. Oh well get them on Saturday. I think DY would complain if he is not the left fielder in his contract year... He should be the DH.. Hard for me to say that raburn is better in the left field but he is...

He hit a nice 2 run homer on pitch that was a bit low and inside.

Fielding... he had a fly ball hit to left...he started running back, immediately lost the ball, turned to his left, thought about trying to imitate Willie Mays over the shoulder basket catch for a half a second, still couldn't find the ball so he decided to just do a complete 360 and the ball hit straight off of his glove when he completed the turn. He basically screwed himself into the ground for no reason at all. It will be on the Top 10 Shit plays on ESPN.

Dirks verses RHP, and Raburn verses LHP. DY at DH for both.... Makes perfect sense to me.. Worth and Santiago platoon at second base... Cut Inge..

Just saw the highlight of that play...lol, wow, that was brutal.

Young should DH and be dropped in the order, I figure the Tigers will give him about a month or so similar to what they did with Monroe and Jones.

He should bat 7. Move Peralta and Avila up. Keep Dirks 8 and R Burn/Inge combo 9.

That play cost us runs, but was not the only Benny Hill moment for Delmon today in LF.
