Tigers will still win. Here's how

Can Max and Doug pitch deeeply into xtra innings to preserve a SHO while the offensively challenged lineup waits and hopes that Miggy can/will hit a likely solo (absent a previous BB) & game-winning homer?

Verlander was lights out. We all see how that went.

Hope so but byco has a point... We lost that damn game freaking 1-0....damn it all to heck...

Seriously, how long can this team continue to under-achieve offensively? But they have to score early. If not....They could be in big, big trouble. And BTW, JV will be good enuff to win but not dominate.

Swing and a miss....go siddown.

Aftermath sumup
Verlander setting record of 30 scoreless innings against same playoff team, 8 innings in this game. 21 of 57 new record K's in a 5 game series, 10 in this game.

O what the; Just let Justin pitch EIGHT.
PS First pitcher to only give 2 hits in an 8 inning win game in elimination game.
No he was not dominant, he was just Verlander plus his A+ game

8 innings of 2 hit, 1 walk, 10 strikeout, lights out gas, and you don't think he was dominant?

Because justin verlander, who sandbagged the entire 2013 season, with the sole purpose of having the oakland A's show up overconfident, thinking they will be facing a different justin verlander, only to have the door slammed in their face once again, by the same guy that ended their season last year.

Oh yeah, and the As are detroit's playoff bitch..
