Yeah, just heard him on radio. Seems like a Defense Atty tactic to mitigate damage that is known to be there vs. passionate and emphatic defense of innocence.

The closed door hearings would be VERY interesting to hear.

in non-Comey-hearing-related unpresidential news, it was just reported that Trump, together with his son Eric's childhood cancer charity, bilked hundreds of thousands of dollars from donations to childrens' cancer treatments for their own pockets. link

Eric Trump publicly stating the Charity was getting pro bono use of Mar-a-lago, while Trump was billing them hundreds of thousands of dollars for the privilege. standard operating procedure for the Trumps though.

side note: how pathetic of a society bottom-runger do you have to be to think donating $$$ to a foundation run by Eric Trump is going to get you somewhere? that's like fighting for a spot at the end of the C-list in Hollywood.

According to CBS News, Axelrad's is the "it" joint in Houston to get drunk and watch these hearings.
