Trump in a Landslide ...

The thing is, I heard some analyst on the radio today - I didn't catch his name - of the overwhelming majority of potential Republican primary voters being polled - about two thirds - who prefer a candidate that isn't Trump - the polls are indicating that Trump rates extremely low as an alternative to the candidate they are currently intending to vote for.

I don't know if Trump even knows that winning a plurality doesn't mean squat.

Sorry then, I don't recall seeing anyone say that, but I would cringe at the idea myself.

I've made it clear in several threads I don't care for Hillary at all, and the quote made it seem like you were accusing me of supporting her. Naturally I wanted to nip that shit in the bud early.

I'd still prefer Bernie over anyone else that is running, and would really only settle for Clinton if the nuclear option was her or Trump or Cruz. I would probably vote for Kaisch over her if he got the nomination (no chance of that).

We're actually pretty much exactly the same on candidates, don't blame you for making that clear.

Even scarier that there are people who think she had any role at all when Bill was president, aside from the normal ceremonial first lady shit.

And if it ever came out she did have a large influence during Bill's term(s), then people would be stupid not to vote for her.

Seriously, January 20th, 1993 - January 20th, 2001 were awesome, covered in fantastic, sprinkled with utopia.

So spearheading a major (failed) healthcare reform bill is "normal ceremonial first lady shit"? Of course, that's probably the only policy matter she had anything to do with. Except during Bill's re-election campaign he actually said with Hillary as his wife, America gets two for the price of one when voting for him and now that she's running, she's constantly bringing up her experience as a highly involved adviser to Bill when he was President.

And January 1993 through January 2001 - the beginning of free money from the Fed that spawned a never ending cycle of bubbles, boom-bust and ever increasing national debt. But they were awesome, covered in fantastic, sprinkled with utopia.

Hey, that doesn't jive with the DSF libtard narrative that half the Republican party is an uneducated white racist. You're way outta line with this stuff pal.

So says Wall Street stalwart Larry Kudlow ...predicting that Trump gets the GOP nod and runs against Bernie Sanders who Kudlow feels will carry Vermont and Vermont, alone.

Trump takes 49 states and wins in Reagan-like fashion!!

And anyone who knows Kudlow knows how he feels about Reagan and the Golden Era of American Politics and Cold War tension.

sounds like Kudlow may be hitting the crack pipe again...

I think those were talking points not only in his first run for president back going back to the days when they were running for Governor/First Lady of Arkansas.

I think they/their campaign staff/came up with that to answer criticisms that the First Lady was exerting an improper amount of influence in the Governor's Mansion.

That definitely rings a bell. Well, according to thumb, she must have dialed it back a few notches when she and Billy moved into the White House.

I'm trying to find a reference to it on the web but I can't.

I think in the old days I heard talking heads on TV who had known something about the Clintons when they were in the Governor's Mansion in Arkansas talking about that when Clinton was president.

And yet your boys Ronnie and George I and II added far more to the debt, and both the Bush boys left the economy in recession when they left office because of cutting rich man taxes.

Percentages are helped when actual amounts are included with them. Looking forward to the amount and percentage that Obama has increased the national debt. Not that I expect the next Pres to balance or reduce the debt since neither party has proven capable.
